Breaking the Bike Barrier!
Thank You Bikers, You were very Supportive of Our Participation!
What a great event, well run, good route, and best of all, in the streets, as bikers
and skaters should be. After getting over their initial shock, I think most bikers
began to rethink their notion of in-line skating. It is another form of transportation.
And a great source of fun, of which Tom and I had a great deal.
Sorry bikers if we were faster than many of you!

Tom and Bob lined up with over 10,000 bikers to skate the 25 mile LATE Ride Route.	Tom skates backwards during the release of the Green group at 2 a.m.	Bob skating in peace and harmony with a mess 'o bikers.	A small fraction of the multitudes of bikers waiting at one of the few red lights we experienced during our early morning romp.
Somewhere after 3 a.m.	The happy marriage of bikers and skaters. We received cheers from folks all along the way, in the neighborhoods as well as in the bar districts.	Yes! We saw the sunrise. Look closer and you'll see just a sliver of the moon as it gets lost in the coming dawn.
