Lots more Race Day photos to see

Well it got a lot wetter before it dried up. My glasses were so steamed up
from the humidity that I tried to skate without them.
With them I could just make out the road, without them it was worse.
So when it started to rain my glasses actually cleared up.

Here some folks lucky enough to be part of a team let me tag along.

But I was comfortable at a faster pace so I snap a skater as I pass on by.

After most of the rain and the six miles of rough road I snap a self portrait. (I'm looking a bit better than some of the local barns, even if I do say so myself.)

Coming into the 38 mile finish line, the weather is beginning to brighten. This is also my first stop, rest stop three, I'm there in 3 hours, 15 minutes. Funny the second half took longer.

Sunny weather greets me on my way towards check point four, but so does lot's of open road and many fewer skaters.
