The day starts out damp with you guessed it, fog.
Breakfast in front of the weather channel highlights a stationary front forecast to sit over our course dumping rain all day.

 

  No problem, it's nothing that Marvin the Martian can't handle. My 13 year old, Evan, gave me my Marvin bandana for luck.

Minutes before start time, Tom and I are ready to rock.

Maybe, I was wrong,, distance skating might be for the young. This shot was taken within Athens, but she's making some pretty good time on those five wheels.
