Escape. Skate Patrol did a great job of clearing traffic
for us flat landers, as we began to get our hill legs
through the Atlanta streets. |

| Fresh from being thrown out of Centennial Park, we stop to do a bit of grinding at the Georgia Dome. From there we head out to catch the last few miles of our skate into Piedmont Park on Sunday. Quite a good idea for those first timers among us, myself included, it really helped to know when I was finally within spitting distance of the finish line. | |||

After our introduction skate it's off to Athens on the "Party Bus". I think Karen is trying to open a Corona with her teeth, or she's marveling at how long it's taking to get to Athens and thinking as somebody did out loud that we were going to have to skate back the whole distance that the bus had been driving. | ||
